DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING \nTO LAY THE LEVY AND SET PROPERTY TAX RATES \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Benwood City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday\, May 28\, 2026\, at 5pm in the Council Chambers at 430 Main Street. \nPURPOSE OF THE MEETING:\nThe purpose of the Special Meeting is to officially lay the levy and approve the property tax rates that will apply to real\, personal\, and public utility property. Council will establish the levy order and rate sheet according to state regulations. \nPUBLIC PARTICIPATION:\nPrior to taking formal action to lay the levy\, City Council will conduct a public hearing.
