From The Intelligencer: BENWOOD – The Marshall County of Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free Summer Concert Series with concerts in Moundsville, McMechen, Glen Dale and Benwood.

The next will be with The Muddle, a band that plays a variety of music, from 7-9 p.m. today, at McMechen Riverfront Park.

Also today, Tammy Jo & Iron Horse are slated to play from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department.

Then on July 12, the Usual Suspects, a variety band, is slated to perform from 7-9 p.m. at Glen Dale Park.

On July 26, country musician Logan Wojcik is set to perform from 7-9 p.m at Benwood City Park.

And the final concert in the series is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Moundsville Riverfront Park with the 40+ Band, which plays oldies, classic rock and a cappella music.

“The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce has been providing free summer concerts for over a decade,” said Scott Reager, executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, “first starting at the Moundsville Riverfront and recently expanding to parks in Glen Dale, McMechen, Benwood, Cameron, Grand Vue Park and Moundsville Riverfront. These are free concerts sponsored by Moundsville Pharmacy, Marshall County Commission and Southwestern Energy and for the whole family.”

The series kicked off in May with the band Pocket Change.
